What are the documents needed for Aadhar registration?
The following documents can be used for Aadhar registration:
- A Passport.
- A Ration Card.
- A PAN Card.
- An Indian Driving License.
- A Voter ID.

- A Photo ID Issued by a Recognized Educational Institution.
- Photo Bank ATM Card.
- Address Card that has a name and photo issued by the Department of Posts.

How can you get an e-Aadhar?
The following is a method using the Aadhar Number:
- Visit Aadhar Correction Online
- Select the “Aadhaar” option.
- Enter your details.
- Get the OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP that was sent to your registered mobile number.
- Click on the “Validate and Download” button to start downloading your e-Aadhaar to your computer.
The following is a method using an enrollment number:
- Login to uidai.gov.in.
- Click on the “Download Aadhaar” button.
- Enter the14 digit enrolment ID number and also the 14 digit time and date values.
- Enter your full name along with the pin code and image captcha.
- Click on “Get One Time Password” to generate an OTP.
- Enter the OTP and click on the “Validate & Download” option.
How to check your Aadhar status?
- Visit Aadhar Correction Online
- Go to the ‘Aadhar Status’ option
- Make sure your phone number is registered.
- Enter your enrolment ID along with the date and time of enrolment and the security code.
- If your Aadhaar is generated, you will get a message regarding the same along with the options to download your e-Aadhaar online. You can also get it on your registered mobile number.
