What is the MyGov app all about?
The mygov platform was launched on 26th July 2014 to build engagement between citizens and governance. The website is controlled and managed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). The mygov app was introduced shortly after the website version. It is available in both Hindi and English language that welcomes the suggestions of the urban part of the nation as well as the rural regions. The mygov app was created to promote the participation of citizens in governance and the country’s development. The platform has brought government and citizens on one plate, and they are both interacting with each other through this. Mygov Registration
The mygov registration is quick and easy to sign up. Here are some of the steps you need to follow.
- Go to the Register option available on the platform.
- A registration window will appear. Fill in all the details as asked such as full name, email address, phone number.
- From the drop-down menu, select the country, date of birth and gender.
- Users having domains like @nic.in and @gov.in can directly access their account without registration.
- You can also register through SMS by sending MYGOV<space>Yourname<comma>email id to the number +917738299899.
Mygov Assam
The government of Assam was the third state to launch mygov Assam, a mygov website of their own after Maharashtra and Haryana. On 10th April 2017, Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal launched the website of their own to enhance the partnership between citizens and the government.
